The new phones will be shipped with MIUI 10 but it is very likely that they will be upgraded to the upcoming MIUI 11 very soon. The Redmi Note 8 has the Qualcomm SDM665 Snapdragon 665 (11 nm) chipset embedded. The System-on-Chip is built on a smaller 11nm LPP process and that is expected to transform into some upgrade in battery life as well as a reduction in the cost.
The SDM665 chipset uses four Kryo 260 cores based on Cortex-A53 with a similar 1.8GHz clock speed as the SD660. Conversely, the Redmi Note 8 Pro has a Mediatek Helio G90T (12nm) MTK processor, which is as powerful as a Snapdragon 712. Also, this Helio G90T is a dedicated gaming-processor, so the gaming performance should be amazing.
