The latest major firmware version of the chinese tech giant Xiaomi is MIUI 12. They release their ROMs every week in a beta branch, containing all the latest changes and bugfixes! This weeks MIUI Developer ROM has version 20.8.13 and in this post we will show you the changelog containing all the latest changes, features and bugfixes Xiaomi has made to that firmware.
Since our custom ROM Builder is based on xiaomi.eu multilangauge ROMs, you will also find some additional notes from their site as well. Finally we will add our own patch notes, to give you a complete list of changes about the firmwares we provide on our ROM Builder!

Optimize – Updated Android Security Patch to August 2020. Improved system security. [Mi Mix 2S]
Super wallpaper
New – Added Saturn super wallpaper from Mi 10 Ultra
Status bar, Notification shade
Fix – Lack of Gaussian blur in the notification drop-down bar
Fix – Some notification icons weren’t displayed in the MIUI style
Split screen
Fix – Phone doesn’t responding after splitting the screen occasionally
Fix – Exit button wasn’t visible
Control center
New – You can add device controls from Mi Home to the Control center now. Attention: You need to update Mi Home first to 5.8.13 version or higher.
System launcher
Fix – App icons in Recents panel were not matching the theme-specific app icons for some apps
Gallery
New – New sky dynamic and static filters, e.g. Milky Way, Fireworks, Galaxy
New – You can add device frame to screenshots (Mi 9, Mi 9 Pro, Mi 10, Mi 10 Pro, Redmi K30, Redmi K30 5G, Mi 9T, Mi 9T Pro)
New – You can add your signature in photo editor (Watermark > Markup)
New – You can convert image to text now (More > Recognize text). Attention: this feature might work very slowly or not work at all in certain cases, we don’t have control over it! It might not work well with non-Chinese/English texts.
Optimize – New layout of Memories tab

Fix – Crash when trying to edit a Dynamic photo [Redmi Note 7]
