The latest major firmware version of the chinese tech giant Xiaomi is MIUI 11. They release their ROMs every week in a beta branch, containing all the latest changes and bugfixes! This weeks MIUI Developer ROM has version 20.3.12 and in this post we will show you the changelog containing all the latest changes, features and bugfixes Xiaomi has made to that firmware.

Optimization – Updated Android Security Patch to February/March 2020. Improved system security.
Optimization – Changed some system animations
Camera
Optimization – Moon mode quality (Mi 10 Pro)
Optimization – Taking photos speed (Mi 10 Pro)
Fix – Occasionally issues with optical focus in Pro video mode (Mi 10 Pro)
Settings
New – Added “Video toolbar” feature (Special features > Video toolbar). It allows to use special features during watching a video (screen recording, casting, play sound when screen is off, open Settings etc.)
Screen time
New – You can restrict time for uninterrupted sessions now
Files
New – Dark mode support. ATTENTION: status bar in Dark mode might be dark – it’s Xiaomi fault on this version!
Permissions
New – Added icons about currently used permissions on status bar (sound recording, taking a photo, accessing location)
Battery saver
Fix – Low battery sound was played twice in horizontally mode
