The latest major firmware version of the chinese tech giant Xiaomi is MIUI 11. They release their ROMs every week in a beta branch, containing all the latest changes and bugfixes! This weeks MIUI Developer ROM has version 20.2.20 and in this post we will show you the changelog containing all the latest changes, features and bugfixes Xiaomi has made to that firmware.

New – Added ability to hide application icons directly from the launcher settings (only on xiaomi.eu)
New – New gestures of recents, switching between apps (using the bar at the bottom of the screen – by dragging it left or right) and closing app
Optimization – Updated Android Security Patch to January/February 2020
Fix – Links weren’t working in some applications (eg Signal)
Fix – App vault FC after performing wipe data or doing clean install
Fix – Lag when switching from Google Feed to the launcher
Fix – Fixed compatibility with third-party installers, like Split APKs Installer (you can ignore the “MIUI detected” warning)
Calculator
New – New app version (from Global ROMs, not China), which contains much more features than earlier
Always on display
New – New clock on AOD mode (“Simple clock”)
Screen time
New – You can turn on notification about remaining time on Notification shade
Settings
New – Redesigned layout of backups, restore and factory reset menu (“Backup, restore and reset”)
Music
New – You can display directories with MP4 files on the player
Browser
Fix – Chinese floating ads are showing in certain scenarios
Downloads
Fix – Play Store downloads show a warning if “Downloading using mobile data is” setting in Downloads app is set to anything other than “Unlimited”
