The latest major firmware version of the chinese tech giant Xiaomi is MIUI 11. They release their ROMs every week in a beta branch, containing all the latest changes and bugfixes! This weeks MIUI Developer ROM has version 20.1.9 and in this post we will show you the changelog containing all the latest changes, features and bugfixes Xiaomi has made to that firmware.

Optimize – Update Android Security Patch to December 2019 for some devices
Fix – Third party apps fail to get location or show incorrect location
Optimize – Screen time: Privacy Policy is in Chinese.
Lockscreen, notification bar, status bar
Fix – Screen disappears after receiving the calendar notification
Fix – Notification icon is not shown when using MIUI notification style for certain apps, like Phone and Messaging.
Fix – Can not disable “displaying over other apps” notifications. [Android 10 only]
Launcher
Optimize – Update icons
Fix – App drawer’s “All” tab is empty after a reboot, mainly when “App suggestions” setting is disabled.
Fix – Dark mode switched on/off is not applied to Google Feed unless the launcher is restarted.
Themes
Fix – No preview for Classic and Limitless theme icon
