Xiaomi has just finished the long awaited Live Event in Beijing and released a wide range of very nice products to the community. One of that products is a brand new flagship smartphone – The Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro!
Like we have seen it in the past, Xiaomi has again published a Pro variant of it’s current flagship phone. They used to improve some smaller things and could present another top notch device for the fans to buy. But not this time!
Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro – Innovations
The chinese tech brand has released some decent innovations with the new Mi 9 Pro to make it a real improvement over the Mi 9. We are seeing awesome new features when it comes to charging, cooling, build-quality and performance of the smartphone.
A liquid-cooled smartphone ?
Yes! Xiaomi has equipped the Mi 9 Pro with an L shaped vapor chamber cooling system, which is powerfull enough to keep the processor’s core temperature 10.2 °C cooler compared to the standard Mi 9! This is a huge benefit, since temperatures have allways been a problem when it comes to high performance devices or super fast charging.
Colors and Design
Xiaomi presented the Mi 9 Pro with two colors, Dream White and Titanium Black. Other than that, it looks pretty much the same as the standard Mi 9.
Fast Charge and Wireless Charging
Xiaomi bet itself again when it comes to fast wireless charging speeds. The new flagship phone can now charge with 30W without a cable being connected! This will juice your phone up to 50% in 25 minutes and to 100% in only 69 minutes! Having a cable with you, you can charge the Mi 9 Pro with 40W which results in 5 minutes for 20% and incredible 48 minutes for a full 100% battery charge!
Therefore Xiaomi made a special 30W Fan-cooled Wireless Charging Stand, to better handle the temperature when charging with such a high performance. The In-box 45W fast charger can be used to charge your phone, Mi-Laptop and also your MacBook!
Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro – Features
We are seeing a real flagship phone here! The Mi 9 Pro is powered by the famous Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ 7mm Octa-core processor which has a clock speed at up to 2.96 GHz. It comes with 512 GB storage and 12 GB RAM. These specs made the Mi 9 Pro setting a new record on the famous AnTuTu Benchmark with a value higher than 480.000!
Along with the awesome performance, we also see some great new features when it comes to connectivity. The Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro is packed with a high performance 5G modem which is capable of doing 10 times better than its predecessor with a field test transmission rate of up to 1.78 Gbps!
