ROM Builder How-To

Prerequisites

• Xiaomi smartphone or tablet
• Unlocked bootloader
• TWRP recovery installed

Create and download Firmware

• Go to https://mi-globe.com/miui-firmware-rom-builder/
• Click on your device
• Choose the firmware version
• Optionally show expert settings and customize your ROM
• Click “Create ROM” and wait until your file is ready
• Download the ZIP-File and copy it to your phones internal or external storage

Install ROM with TWRP Recovery

• Reboot your device to recovery mode ( hold power button + volume up )
• Optionally create a TWRP backup – Its always nice to have one!
• Optionally wipe data / factory reset for a clean and fresh installation
• Press “Install” and navigate to the downloaded ROM ZIP-File
• Click on the file and swipe the installation-slider to the right
• Wait until the installation has finished
• Check the logoutput for any errors
• Reboot the device
