Some MpDecision Mod fixes for Mi4s?

    2. dr4kendroid
      November 18, 2016 at 09:28

We disabled mpdecision for some devices. Xiaomi packed parts of mpdecision code in the ROMs for all quallcomm devices but unfortunately not all are compatible.

      November 18, 2016 at 09:43

When you say “We disabled mpdecision for some devices.” Can you please specify which ones they are?

    4. dr4kendroid
      November 18, 2016 at 12:34

We disabled for all that are not on the list on mpdecision post. We need to find help from users with other phones to test reliably. We only activate for phone when we can be sure that it works.

Ok i have flashed the latest ROM for my Redmi 3 “ido”.
Sometimes when i reboot it get’s stuck and i need to “force boot into recovery with Power + VOL UP buttons”. Then from there it will reboot normally.

I patched with the BOOT.img from here and it solved the problem.

      November 18, 2016 at 21:40

Any chance it works at some point on redmi note 3 pro ? (in the post, kenzo said not working, I imagine it’s the same for kate).

If I installed mod on previous version, installing the new version, so without mpdecision, will “clean” it from my phone ?

thanks for the great works guys.

mp decision doesnt work now with redmi 3s prime. and default governer is performance now

    31. trashcan
      November 20, 2016 at 05:06

On a cleanly installed globeROM Helium with nothing else on it except cpu-z, after several minutes, the governor changes suddenly to performance mode and sets all online cores to the highest clock speed and sometimes stays there for good even after several reboots. It shuts down some cores but the over-all cpu load becomes so high that it drains the battery so fast and heats up the phone a little while even idle. If the governor changes to performance mode, the govtuner mod becomes useless and incompatible and can never be run unless governor goes back to interactive mode. I use Kernel Adiutor to control cpu problems a little but I have to check once in a while because it still happens and I have to manually set governor back to interactive mode again through Kernel Adiutor. So it is useless for now. I hope mpdecision is fixed as it is doing wonders on other snapdragon 650-652 phones like the Samsung A9 Pro.

so the bug for this week version is the battery shows 100℅ battery but its not actually 100℅ , for your opinion.. stable 8.0.5 or this is better for daily use ?

    35. Hogan
      November 20, 2016 at 12:57

      HERMES here:
Resuming videos with stockplayer doesn’t work after restarting app. Movie just freezes, sound plays on. No matter if played internal or external sd.
Maybe hardware acceleration (at least vlc player automatically deactivated h acceleration.)

Resuming longer audio tracks (p.e. hour-long podcasts) not working on Bluetooth after phone calls. Track starts all over then.

      November 20, 2016 at 17:08

gsam battery monitor indicates more than 70% on apps battery usage. Only get 12h standby with 2h screen on time. Very bad battery for mi4C
